We are currently seeking talented candidates for the following positions:

 

Research Leader

Keystone Nano is looking for a Researcher to lead the development of new drug products.  The successful candidate will join our laboratory in State College, PA to conduct chemical and physical experiments using our proprietary manufacturing techniques to develop and scale this technology for a variety of markets. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in biochemistry, bioengineering, chemical engineering, materials science or a related field. Experience with biochemical or nanomaterials synthesis and analysis is preferred. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills are required.

We are looking for a highly-motivated, detail oriented team member that is able to effectively communicate and contribute in a fast-paced research environment.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Design experiments to develop and produce custom Nanotherapeutics
  • Design research programs to optimize Nanotherapeutics improving efficacy, safety, stability, and scalability
  • Write proposals for government grants or corporate projects, serving in some cases as a Principal Investigator
  • Present and communicate verbally and electronically with government sponsors and corporate partners
  • Set up and conduct experiments, tests, and analyses using techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, physical and chemical extractions, dynamic and quasi-electric light scattering and microscopy
  • Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses
  • Prepare graphs and charts to document experimental results for presentation to research team and management
  • Monitor product quality to ensure compliance to standards and specifications
  • Archive data in a detailed laboratory notebook

Research Chemist

Keystone Nano is looking for a Research Chemist able to play an important role in developing novel drug products for cancer applications. The successful candidate will join our laboratory in State College, PA to conduct chemical and physical experiments using our proprietary manufacturing techniques to develop and scale this technology for a variety of markets. The successful candidate will have a BS (with at least 2 years of laboratory experience) or MS in biochemistry, bioengineering, chemical engineering, materials science or a related field. Experience with biochemical or materials analysis is preferred. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications is required.

We are looking for a highly-motivated, detail oriented team member that is able to effectively communicate and contribute in a fast-paced research environment.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist in designing experiments to develop and manufacture custom specialty products
  • Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses using techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, physical and chemical extractions, dynamic and quasi-electric light scattering and microscopy
  • Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses Prepare graphs and charts to document experimental results for presentation to management.
  • Monitor product quality to ensure compliance to standards and specifications
  • Archive data in an industrial style laboratory notebook
  • Maintain, clean, and sterilize laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Order and inventory materials to maintain supplies

Research Technician

Keystone Nano is looking for a Research Technician able to play an important role in developing novel drug products. The successful candidate will join our laboratory in State College, PA to expedite work flow and maintain a positive team environment. The successful candidate will have a BS in biochemistry, bioengineering, chemical engineering, materials science or a related field. Experience with biochemical or nanomaterials analysis is desirable. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications is required.

We are looking for an independent, highly-motivated, detail oriented team member that is able to effectively communicate and contribute in a fast-paced research environment.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Acquire, inventory and invoice materials to maintain supplies
  • Coordinate equipment scheduling
  • Perform weekly quality control inspections and analyses
  • Prepare standard solutions
  • Assist with performing chemical experiments
  • Archive data in an industrial style laboratory notebook
